Ashley Lukashevsky is a powerhouse illustrator and graphic designer who has amassed nearly 34k+ followers on Instagram. Her work speaks for itself as it shines a light on feminism and social justice issues. This Hawaii-native now calls Los Angeles home and upon her arrival, she moved into a role as the social impact designer at LA2050 — an initiative to create a positive shared future for all Angelenos. We first met Ashley at a 10-day pop up celebration in Chinatown Los Angeles called Into Action and since then have been fans of her work. Luckily, during our time working at We Rise, we were able to see one of her pieces on display. At the event we interviewed Ashley about the importance of art and its power to heal. If you've yet to read it, you can check it out here. To see more of Ashley's work, a glorious gallery of art can be found on her Instagram
